The general idea of the mural is to represent all the departments at the college, and incorporate the college's motto in it as well: Quality education in a supportive environment. You will note that the background is made up of myriad figures standing on each other's shoulders. One of the most challenging parts was getting the various departments to help design their own circular seals, thirteen in all.
Reigate College Mural, Surrey
Here is the enormous indoor mural I engineered at Reigate Sixth Form College in Surrey. It involved masses of students and staff in its creation from idea sharing to the grunt work of gridding, transferring drawings, lettering, and of course in the painting.
